trans fat

i am just curious about trans fat. i am trying desperately to avoid them at all costs. "accidentally" had them in my mcD's patty yesterday (long story as to why i ate there...) anyway, if i get a chicken leg with skin, don't put any breading on it, and fry it in coconut oil, will that produce trans fat? i am wondering how trans fat is formed? if i make meat patties at home (like what i had yesterday at mcD) it doesn't have trans fat. thx for info

I'm pretty sure the trans-fat in a McDonald's burger is natural. You'll find it in all burgers.
