i have bought a bag of frozen chicken wing drumets it says 4oz for 1 serving... Is that with bone or with out bone? I ask because another brand I buy labels "meat only" and this one doesn't say either way.. A serving for 4oz is 190 cals.

When I buy the fresh ones the NV's are just for the raw weight whole (I presume, it never says) I weight before eating then minus off the bones after. I am thinking your NV's are for the whole thing so I would minus off the bones after eating those too.

Edited to say, see how many servings the whole package as and see if it works out per serving (if this makes sense!)

That's what I was doing but then this bag didn't say so I was wondering I weighed and 2 sticks were 4 oz with bone not much meat for 190 cals but I still added the 4 wings as 2 servings

I would weigh them before eating, then weigh the bones afterwards, and subtract the difference.

This is what I do, I don't know if it's correct but I have no issues with not losing weight so it must be close enough

I base the serving size on meat only, no bones.

I'm so glad I try and read as many of these posts as I can. I just had plain pork ribs for lunch and had no idea how to weigh the meat. I tried taking it off the bones first but that wasn't really working and it was making a huge mess, lol. Now I feel like an idiot. Weigh it before and then any remainder with the bones after, ......duh. Sure wish I'd gotten to this thread 3 hours ago. At least I learned something new today
