I'm suffering through a bad case of DOMS in my hamstrings. Would a foam roller help with relieving muscle soreness? Are they hard to use? Any recommendations?

Thanks!

It definitely helps - if you can roll before and after working out it will help even more. I just searched on amazon for one - can't remember off the top of my head what brand it was but around $25. Worth every penny!

Foam rollers are great and can be used for muscle soreness almost anywhere. They are not hard to use. Just put some body weight where you are sore and roll on it. I have used them for all over my back and they even help my neck. Remember to stretch your hamstrings too, that will help.

I totally LOVE the foam roller - I use it after EVERY single work-out on my IT band(s) and my quads. Just google "foam rolling" and "hamstrings" and I'm sure some images will pop up which will help you out.

    DO IT!

Thanks for the replies! I'll definitely order one. Should I get a 36" or would a smaller one work?
