Reacting to medication differently on Keto

I was curious if anyone has had medications react differently since being Keto. I was prescribed Flexeril earlier this week by my doctor for muscle pain after a car accident. I have taken Flexeril in the past with no side effects. This time, however, the side effects were horrible. I bloated up, couldn't urinate (and I drink SO much water), had dry mouth, was very nervous, could not think straight, and couldn't sleep. I have stopped the flexeril but it has a long half life and won't be out of my system for another 48 hours. I am just curious if anyone else has experienced something like this, maybe not with flexeril but with any other type of drug. Thanks!

Try a high dose of magnesium glycinate. Try 200-300mg 3 or 4 times a day. It relaxes muscles and has many other benefits of course.0

I second the magnesium recommendation! Also, if you feel you still could use a muscle relaxer you might want to ask for Zanaflex. Is a milder muscle relaxer with fewer, or no, side effects for me. It helps without making me drowsy. Plus it is a scored tablet (can be split into fourths) so a lesser dose can be taken when I decide I don't need a full dose.
I'm not surprised you see a difference after being LCHF though! It changes our body in so many ways!!0
