Hi! For those who sprang forward, welcome to DST! I'll join you in a week or two.
I'm still totally sick and miserable, but luckily FIL took kids for the afternoon, and tomorrow is a holiday, so no school! Unfortunately I haven't felt like doing proper shopping so I'll be scraping by on meal prep til the stores reopen Tuesday. Hoping this cold passes soon. Tried some allergy medicine just in case it was the blossoms, but didn't help, so I'll just wait.
Hope y'all are having a nice weekend0 -
Rest day today. I'm tired and cranky, so glad for that. I'm also excited to have that extra hour of light in the evening. I get up early enough for work it's been dark anyway so that won't be much of a switch.
It's much cooler today than yesterday but it's dry (original forecast had it raining all day) so I threw a couple loads of laundry in & hung them on the line. Just pulled in about half of it. I have BBQ ribs going in the crockpot. Washed dishes & that's about it. My cold is still hanging on. I tried to nap but couldn't sleep.0 -
I slept in and because of change was real late! Took Benedryl last night first time in long time but sneezing a lot lately. Things are blooming around here.
Yet another stormy windy rainy day....ok officially tired of winter here!
Yesterday was able to take long walk during break in rain, no break today.
I think I am taking day off exercise.
Sherry sorry to hear you are still sick. Good you have a break with kids though.0 -
Hope all are feeling better in the dregs of winter. Sherry, hope you feel better soon. Glad you're getting a little help.
This weekend was a combination of everything. Great Indian lunch with a friend, took my kid to movie and when we got home he had a massive meltdown and I put him t bed at 6:05pm, was husbands birthday, went out for a pre-rain walk with my kid, chores, baking, errand, and went to children's hospital to visit friends' sick three-year-old. Unfortunately, at the little birthday party at my sister-in-law's house today, right in front of my place was a big bowl of Cadberry's Easter eggs, the really good kind that are only available once a year and are, unfortunately, my kriptonite.
Have healthy lunch and dinner planned and already have yogurt at work for breakfast. Moving on...0
