Anyone got a decent light roast coffee brand? I prefer a light or medium roast in the mornings, but it seems every one is infatuated with dark roast these days. I'm not a fan of the Starbucks variety and am wanting to try something new.

Do you have a Giant grocery store near you? They have a nice selection of Organic coffees and the Breakfast blend is pretty tasty.0

I get whatever's on sale
But, I also use an AeroPress, which (even though I'm a coffee plebe) I maintain makes all manner of coffee taste better.0 -
Oh yeah, my french press makes the best coffee. And nope on the Giant grocery. I have a Piggly Wiggly and Dollar General. If I feel up to driving 45 minutes away, I can find a Walmart, Winn Dixie, or Publix LOL!0

Are you opposed to ordering online? http://www.amazon.com/Cafe-Britt-Organic-Ground-12-Ounce/dp/B003L4BQ7S/ref=sr_1_13_s_it?s=grocery&rps=1&ie=UTF8&qid=1458235908&sr=1-13&keywords=organic+breakfast+blend+coffee&refinements=p_n_feature_browse-bin:10434587011,p_85:2470955011,p_72:1248897011
And I totally agree about the French Press, by far the best coffee I've ever had.0 -
I personally like Gevalia. It's affordable, easy to find, and has a pretty smooth flavor. It comes in multiple varieties, I'm pretty sure there is a mild...I'm positive there is a medium house roast, that's what I get.

Kicking Horse Coffee is a brand I like a lot.

They are a Canadian company but they have expanded into the United States.
I like the Kick *kitten* blend.0 -
I am really loving this coffee right now.
Of course I have the great benefit of buying directly from the source since they are a few minutes away.
They are only open to the public at the roaster one day a week for a few hours, but they have tastings. I have bought this one and another called Huehuetenango Guatamala and a seasonal blend called Cabin Fever.
I plan on going again next week because I'm almost out! I can't imagine buying anything else now.

Thanks everyone. I'll check all those out and I order off Amazon all the time. I've tried a few of the Cafe Brit ones and always liked them. I can find the Gevalia at Walmart, or I've seen it there before.
Thank you again!0 -

Those coffees sound amazing!!0 -
The best coffee I've ever had was when I went to Hawaii. The brand is called Lion and I tried their Vanilla Macadamia Nut flavor. Literally the best light roast coffee I've ever had. I bought some other brands in the same flavor, not the same! Will order more on Amazon when I finally finish this last bag.0
