Small successes equal big rewards

A little background first. About three weeks ago, l accepted a new job. The two weeks leading up to the change my mood was a rollercoaster of emotions which, unfortunately, lead to eating. Last week was my first week at my new job and it was tough trying to get settled in. I was still eating like a piggy.
Starting yesterday, I was able to get back on track and even cut out some unhealthy diet choices. Yesterday, I cut the after-work wine out; which carried over to today and it was easier to do without. I ate dinner when I got home because I was famished, I usually eat late then it just sits in my tummy and I exercised after dinner. Because I did that, I didn't have my Reeses ice cream sandwich!
It feels good to finally settle in at my new job and be on a healthier track than, even, before I started.

Good for you!! It's tough staying on track during such a stressful time but it's awesome that you won't let a little setback slow you down :) Good work!
