This looks like a great way to get started

I just started here and have 70lbs to lose to reach my goal. I've started on the diet part, but really need some motivation to get moving. The weight (and my lifestyle) has caused me a variety of chronic pain issues but I need a reason to push myself past that.

LolliRox if you are looking for motivation, you've come to the right place! Sean and Lisa are great leaders and everyday is a new day with a new challenge. If you are unable to do the challenge as posted, modify it! I suffer with chronic pain, too, but figure I'm hurting anyway, so why not push a little more and get in better shape? Welcome!

Sounds like fun! I'm excited! I'm currently recovering from an injury so certain exercises are on my no-go list :( Can I still participate and sub in similar exercises for any that I can't do?

Many of the group members including myself have limitations and substitutions are allowed:)

Glad to be able to join this challenge. Here a short story, I have been apart of MFP for a few years. I started at 270 pounds June of 2014. I lose a total of 95 pounds by August 2015. Th reason i wanted to lose weigh was due to my Son's wedding. I didn't want to hide from the cameras. He was to get married in Oct 2015 but the wedding was cancelled in August. I went into a downward spiral, felt like my reason was taken away. Since then i have regained about 30 pounds. I haven't gotten on the scale but its a guess based on how my clothes feel. This week i decided i need to do this for me this time. I am number one. I do have a few physical issues, my knees need to be replaced and i have 2 torn rotator cuffs. So I am limited. But i was able to lose over 90 pounds with the limitations. Looking forward to join an Team.

I'm on board for April! Unfortunately when I'd joined in March, I'd forgotten about being internet inaccessible for part of the month, plus a good old fashioned viral infection knocked me down for nearly a week.

April will be great though - including a planned 5K at the end of the month!

I'd like to join in for April. I've never done anything like this and don't have a lot of pounds to lose, but definitely need something to keep me active and from falling off the healthy wagon (because when I fall, it is a plummet... lol).
