Adding tongue-absorbed B12.

I have celiac disease. And hypothyroidism. Am on 75 mcg Synthroid and 15mcg Cytomel.
I spent almost my entire break sleeping.
I had blood tests and saw my GP yesterday. Numbers are good. I have to admit that sometimes I have added an extra Cytomel to my dosage (GP said I could) but have found it made very little difference.
She recommended I take the oral, dissolves under the tongue version of B12 because the celiac disease could be interfering with the absorption of B12 naturally. I just started it.
Now, after all that long-winded background, does anyone know about how long it might take to see an effect from extra B12? The amount in the pill is 5000 mcg.
Thanks to all!
