Fried, if I must. I'd happily avoid them on a permanent basis.

I've had them raw a couple times but I am landlocked and it make me somewhat uneasy. But raw with horseradish is epic.

Well, not low carb, but on a saltine cracker right out of the shell. Yum. Ahhh, perks of living near Apalachicola, Fl.

Fried, and in a Po'Boy..... or as a stew. Hard to say which is my favorite way.

Allergic- I avoid like the plague, because you know the splotchy-rash-swollen-tongue-look just isn't in this season.

I love raw fish and used to make ceviche all the time, clams and mussels are delish, but I just can't handle the texture of oysters. Though I do like their flavour when they're deep fried, but still can't get past the slimy texture.

    Just like that.

Raw with a big dollop of horseradish and a little red wine vinegar. Yum.
