Hey everyone, so I've been on a diet for over a year and lost 100 pounds so far. Currently am 6'3 214 pounds. I want to be able to lose a good amount of stomach fat in the next 8 weeks. Would the Atkins diet help me with that? Recently I've been going under 20G carbs, while exercising (cardio&weights) 6 days a week. Just want some tips on of going on Atkins for the next 8 weeks would be beneficial, thanks!

You can't spot reduce fat, sorry. This means that as you lose weight, it will come from wherever the body decides to pull it from.

That said, Atkins and similar low carb programs will help correct any glucose/insulin issues that may be predisposing you to midsection fat deposits. No guarantees, though, because at the end of the day, the body will pull from where it decides to pull.

Other than that, have a look at the Launch Pad, stickied at the top of the group. It has a great deal of information on what to expect when getting started.
