Hi Lushes! Hope everyone had a good weekend. Fun weekend, ate out a lot some of it healthy some of it not so much and lots to drink Friday night Saturday night and pretty much from brunch til 2 am yesterday. Time to try to repair that damage.

the night on the lousy sofa bed made yesterday awful. I had two vodkas when I got home and then went to bed. I hope today is better.

Well, we had to have a proper send off for our friend. So we drank 3 bottles of wine and some beers. I feel fine today. NOW I have a couple dry days....

Sorry about the sofa bed, Robin.
I had a 0. 2 in a row!. Sitting around at Jury duty...I may need some wine tonight.

Well I survived the weekend without wine and went to the gym both days. Been eating pretty well (apart from still working my way through a rather large Easter egg!) and back to the gym tonight. Might have some wine this weekend, will see how I feel Friday night. The less I drink the easier I find it to resist, once I start having a drink I find it harder not to have a glass or 2 every night.

Dismissed from Jury duty...had wine last night.
Hoping for some good exercise today. I've been logging everything and watching the calories. Maybe the scale will reward me at the end of the week.

Way to go, Yvonne! No drinks AND the gym on the weekend, you're my hero! It's so true, once I don't have a drink one night I can just keep going indefinitely... ok only til' Friday. LOL!

I would drink too if I had Jury Duty!

Been stressed out this week so I had some rum drinks Monday and 2 glasses of wine last night. Today has proven to be a rough one since I opened my eyes so I'll probably have a couple glasses of wine tonight, plus my in-laws took the kiddo for the day/early evening so it's kind of a great excuse to have a mommy-party. :D I managed to stay around my calories though (stir-fry for dinner last few nights) so still somewhat hopeful that I'll see at least a small loss by the end of the week.

Hi Lushes!! I'm so far behind on this thread. Hope everyone is doing well!!

I've been pretty lushy & I have an extremely lushy weekend starting tomorrow night!! My wonderful friend is getting married this weekend, so lots of wedding events will be happening! My body is going to really hate me come Monday morning

    HI EVERYONE!!!
You know this whole job thing really takes away from my MFP time....work, it ruins everything

I started out being moderate this week....Monday, I have a glass of wine.
Then yesterday was a "let's go to happy hour" type of day. I had 2 beers, another back home and then a glass of wine.
Tonight....Lenny got offered a new job with the state, which he has been dreaming about since it posted. His current job is great except they overwork and underpay him, PLUS he is used to being a state employee and having sick/vacation/holidays. So he will probably want to celebrate tonight with a few drinks and what kind of wife would I be if I didn't help him celebrate

    Monday - 6?
    Tuesday - 0 YAY!
Wednesday - I was off work. It was gorgeous. I stopped at the liquor store on the way home from my run/park trip. Our neighbors had us over for pulled pork and a fire. I think I had 4 glasses of wine, but maybe 5 and a cocktail.
Tonight is work happy hour, but I have to pick up the kids by 6, so I will only have 1 drink. Then probably have the glass of wine left in the bottle.

My rationale for drinking last night is that we are going to take it easy Friday in order to get tons of stuff accomplished Saturday in preparation for a family party on the 30th and our 5th annual Derby party the following weekend. So now I have to follow through with that! And then after Derby we have got to quit with the heavy weeknight drinking!

TGIF lushes! Not much exciting going on with me this week. Wish I could report a loss...just maintaining but carrying that weight gain still from vacation.
Baseball game this weekend..which usually means lots of beer and food. I'm going to at least try to get in some workouts.

Prosecco is chilling in the fridge. Dinner is in the oven. After 2 weeks of no alcohol and eating well I've decided to have an indulgent night. Maybe not my best choice of day as I'm supposed to be taking my weekly progress pics later, measurements and weigh in tomorrow, I might put the pics off to tomorrow night! Good news is my clothes have definitely got looser in the last week and that what really matters to me.
Happy Friday all, have a great weekend

Oh whoops I appear to have inadvertently drunk the entire bottle of wine and accompanied it with a load of junk food. Moderation, if only :-(

We all have our moment Yvonne. Three bottles of red throughout the entire weekend. While working on the front yard lots of bickering, so stressful. I am a bit sore today so I know I did something.

I was a total lush this weekend. I was never huungover really, but I drank a lot over long periods. I think yesterday and Saturday I probably had like 6 drinks, but didn't eat a ton so got kinda drunk. It was gorgeous all weekend though, and we got a lot of stuff done around the house. I am for real drying out this week. I'm setting myself a weekly goal of 15 drinks or less. I think I need that structure in my life right now. My goal is to lower that number by 1 each week. The last few weeks have been really bad for drinking....

Had 2 double vodkas at the baseball game over several hours...wine before....and only 1 hotdog for food so I consider that a win. The Padres managed a win too.
2 glasses of wine yesterday. I'm still up 2 pounds tho and my birthday celebration is this weekend, so I need to crack down on calories and exercise this week. 85 degrees today so I'm hitting the pool!

Good grief- it was 89 degrees in the Seattle area yesterday- an all time April high. It seems we go from cool and rainy to HOT every other week. Trying to stay hydrated. ;)

Very lushy this weekend and lots of carby foods yesterday from a meeting that was catered and then 3 cocktails when I got home. I have to knock it off this week, feeling very bloated and sure I've gained. :(

No alcohol Mon or Tues but I made up for it in chocolate :( I'm emotional eating and just don't care it's sabotaging my weight loss plans. Having a bit of a blip but know I'll get back on track soon. Might have some wine tonight otherwise I'll have to find a chocoholics anonymous group instead of hanging out with the lushes!

    Yvonne, hang in there!
I had another 0 last night but it'll probably be my last for a while. Off to a birthday staycation downtown. I'm sure there will be plenty of drinking but hope to offset it with lots of walking and fun activities.

    Have a great Birthday Syd.
Chocolate is an alcohol as far as I am concerned Yvonne, so stick with us lushes.
Gary, cold and rainy coming back for the weekend and most of next week. Weird weather this year.
Everyone hang in there. I am just hanging in there

Wednesday - I'll call it 3 glasses of wine
Not sure about tonight. May hang with the neighbors, but I think I am going to try to not do that. I always get in trouble when I go down there..... And I have a lot of work to get done tomorrow. And if I want to get anywhere close to my goal, I need to abstain or have just a couple tonight since I have dinner out with girlfriends, Thunder Over Louisville, and birthday party this weekend.

Can you lushes please tell me who to keep my mouth shut. I was written up again for being disruptive because I interject answers or I can get information (correct information) to people 10x faster than some of these people. I guess they are threatened by me so I am supposed to sit by and let misinformation be handed out. Let crappy misguided answers to be given. I am sorry I know more and that they feel stupid. "Not my Problem" but I guess it is. I have considered duct tape across my mouth but Doug said that would be tacky. It is 5:56am and I already could use a drink.

Oh Robin :s well it's 8pm here so definitely time for a drink! It's always drink o'clock somewhere in the world.... So your 5.56 is deffo not too early.
Thanks all for the kind comments, I've had a slightly better few days with food. Been to the gym the last 2 days so going to open a bottle of wine tonight. I will try not to finish it in one sitting.
As for the weather, arctic air spreading down over the UK for the weekend. Jogged home from the gym in freezing cold rain. Let's hope the sun is on its way for everyone. Happy weekend Lushes <3
