While pregnant I added some oats to my diet because the ob pressure and so I got derailed for about 2 years. This year I am back on track and looking to connect with more like minded people. I don't specifically call myself Paleo, but as I continue to eliminate things, like artificial sweeteners, I'm getting more and more similar to that woe, just at a Keto level.
Feel free to add me if you want. I'm supportive of whatever method produces good health and works for us as individuals.

Also, I just saw your cw and goals. Now is probably a better time to start adding muscle. You'll lose fat at the same time. If your weight drops to 90lbs, that puts you at 18.2 BMI and at the top end of underweight. You're currently only at 20.6, toward the lower end of ideal. I don't think most people drop to an underweight status before trying to add lean mass. Maybe I'm wrong??? It would surprise me though.

My normal diet is basically very paleo/primal. I'm recently trying to go without dairy. Oh, and I don't stress about the grass-fed aspect. But, I don't do processed foods.

I hear you. Pre pregnancy I was 93 lbs..On my frame it's really not under weight. I hear you though! I'm sticking to it for the time being .

I lean towards Paleo, yet remain ketogenic for the health benefits. Welcome to the group! It's always great to see new people joining us!!

Hi! Nice to meet you. Please feel free to add me as a friend.

I was low carb (100g) paleo for years, but last year decided to go very low carb (<20g) and I decided to start eating dairy again, I also started eating bacon again recently, though that bad habit is about to come to an end as I do not like the way I feel after eating it.... But other than that, I'm still very much an advocate for whole foods, clean eating, cooking from scratch, eating quality meat and veg and leaving the fake food on the grocery store shelves.

I generally use "Primal" to describe how I eat, though I've tweaked it quite a bit. My ideal way of eating is quite a bit more strict than "simply" Primal, but I try to keep my "fallback" as Primal in situations where my ideal way isn't particularly feasible.

Yeah I guess Im more primal as I do eat dairy and Greek yogurt. Most people know paleo more than primal so when I describe myself I just say paleo instead of listing everything I don't eat. If someone is still confused I just say meat and vegetables! ;)

I've dipped my toe in keto. Was in ketosis for about a week and 1/2 but it may have been to drastic because I couldn't get out of bed for a day or so because of the keto flu. I'm reluctant to do it again since I have my toddler to take care of all day. It was a rough one!

"Keto flu" is 100% avoidable. It's not caused by ketosis, it's caused by low electrolytes. You can totally prevent it.
    Info in the launch pad.

No worries. Most people don't. That's why there's so much info out there that speaks about it as if it's just a given and totally a thing you just have to suffer through. It's not part of the adaptation. Just a lot of people think it is because they don't know the science behind the cause.

This is a pretty decent podcast describing ketosis and how to do it right by a moderate-carb primal chick.

I was paleo before I transitioned to primal keto (got rid of fruit and starchy veg). Now I am going the ZC route.
