Day 5 - Total Body & Abs

Hey! I see we have some beastettes out there who aren't afraid to lift!

How's everyone doing?

I just finished up day 5, Total Body and Abs! Wow! Great workout! I am loving this program!!!!

So, if everyone could just chime in, tell us a little about yourself, what got you into fitness and why you're doing or want to do Body Beast!

And Happy 4th everyone! Stay safe out there and have fun!

    Hi to all!

    I'm not beastette yet but plan to be. Whenever I had a gym membership in the past I noticed the same pattern everywhere. Women were sweating for hours on cardio devices, very few were using weight machines and almost none lifted free weights - that part was "reserved" for guys. I used treadmill for warmup, then went straight to weight machines and later when I become more confident to the dumbbells and benches. Guys respectfully let me through and even gave me an advice or two. Women don't realise that it takes tremendous hard work to see a muscle or two on woman's body! Weight lifting DOES however give awesome body shape, great strenght and burns lots of calories. So why should we be afraid of it?
