WHY is this not working?

So Im just trying to figure this puzzle out- please help if you have any insight.
I am a little over 1.5 months into a low carb woe. I have remained for the last 2 weeks diligently at no more than 30 grams of carbs. (before that I was never over 55grams) My macros have been consistent with not too much protein. Approx: 5-10 %carb/ 75% fat /15-20% protein. I have not lost more than than 3.5 lbs since Feb 15th when I began this woe.
I will admit I went off and indulged in carbs and a little sugar for two days while on vacation but that was almost 2 weeks ago and have been great ever since. I shoot for 1350 cals and usually on average end at 1450-1500. I have had a few days In the last 45 days where Ive been closer to the 2100 calorie range BUT those days still remained macro consistent.
My question is:
1. Why am I not losing?
2. Why am I still hungry? Today for example, I had BPC at 8am, 3 eggs, 2 Tb trader joes mayo, 1/4 avocado for lunch at 12pm and then at 1:30pm I had ANOTHER 3 eggs, mayo and avocado because I was STILL hungry! I thought my appetite was suppose to be dramatically reduced by eating so much fat? Some people say they can go all day without eating. I can't imagine! While my blood sugar swings are MUCH improved over my old way of eating I still want to eat throught the day. What gives??
I do fall into the camp of not having all that much to lose (10- 12 lbs total) but I don't want to accept that as an excuse for this slow to no weight loss. I have to believe the initial 3.5 lb loss must have been glycogen/water and so in reality I have not lost anything in over 1.5 months!
suggestions?

I have been doing keto for almost six months now and I *just* began the feeling that the fat keeps me satiated enough that I can go five hours without food and be OK. So it isn't automatically going to come for everyone. Also, there are days when you are not hungry and then days where you could eat the whole entire world.
It's not always about a number on the scale. I haven't lost any weight for the past two months - in fact, I have gained a little bit of weight. But I have lost inches and clothing sizes. My skin has also improved. Have you tried measuring yourself? Maybe you lost inches in your waist, hips, thighs, anywhere on your body.
The scale is a liar. It is a well-known fact. And I would rather look smaller and be at a higher weight than obsess over a number that fluctuates all the time.0 -

Low carb works best for the insulin resistant. If you don't have a lot to lose, you're probably pretty insulin sensitive. You'll need to resort to good old-fashioned calorie restriction, but lowish carb can help with body recomp.
Stick with real food, high fiber veggies for carb intake. Very low carb probably won't help you, but keep it under 200g.0 -
I did not lose even 1 pound for the first six weeks. Lost at ton of pain in 30 days and some inches that first 6 weeks.

I'm assuming your fats are not in the form of vegetable based oils... Are they saturated fats like butter, animal fats or coconut oil?0

Amost ALL of my fat is coming from animal sources or coconut oil & ghee.

Then my thoughts generally start to go toward stress... In general, lack of sleep and such things...
How about exercise? Are you doing something for exercise? Is it new or different than ever before? And what type and how long and often?0 -
I had this issue. Sort of. Followed the diet pretty exact for all of March (except for that single piece of cake), and after the initial water weight, nothing for 3 weeks. Then in the past 5 days, the scale has gone down almost 7 pounds. So maybe you are due for a whoosh?0

I have not done any exercise, I'm in the Midwest and waiting for the weather to warm up and then I will start to incorporate walking.
Stress has actually been minimal and sleep is never a problem for me I'm a very good sleeper.
I have not done measurements but I will and possibly a loss will show in that way.
Thank you all for the encouragement and feedback.0 -
What is your weight? Are you vegetarian? Eggs are a great source of protein, but maybe more protein would be helpful. You might appreciate the bulk of eating leafy greens as well.0

My weight is 140- I'm not vegetarian.0

Well, you're the weight I was when things took a major slow down.
Really, 6 weeks in and 3.5 pounds down is pretty good since you're close to goal. I spent 5 months to lose 4 pounds from September to February, but it looked like a whole lot more than that.
Have you taken pics or measurements to compare to?
It sounds like you're doing the right things. I really doubt you actually stopped making progress. It's just not showing up by the scale.
I have been very much on plan since the first day. Ive never had a day where I cheated even once during the past 11 months. Carbs have never averaged more than 30g, ever. Mostly I've stayed well under 20, probably 90% of the time. Calories were always at a good deficit for me and during that "stall period" I went through several weeks where I meticulously weighed everything I ate because I was convinced I was eating too much. It made absolutely no difference at all.
My body had its own plans. And after taking the photo, I realized that looking for my progress on the scale wasn't the best way because it's a lying liar pants! Obviously, because I lost noticeable amounts of fat that look to me to be more than what 4 pounds would be.
I really think you must be going through a similar phase. See it through and work on not stressing about the scale.0 -
I've gone through periods when I could easily have eaten way over my calorie goal. It really helps me not to snack, and to have a longish fast - for me that means that I don't eat after 4pm or before 6am. Doing all my eating within 8-10 hours means that I feel full at least once a day, and that does it for me.0

What are your 30 g of carbs coming from? How many g sugar are you getting a day? Do you eat artificial sugars? Are you logging and weighing everything you eat?
I learned on my journey that any sugars besides from veggies (including artificial) cause me to crave food..... Try giving them up for a week or 2 and see how ur hunger is. This also causes me to retain more water.1
