Best Tips for keeping yourself motivated and controlled with T2D.

I thought I would see if anyone had tips to share that keeps them motivated and in good sugar control....there are lots of people struggling and so I thought if we shared what works for us it may help even one person.

Mine is embrace your journey...enjoy your life. Nourish your body with good and yummy food so you won't feel deprived. Log everything no matter what..the dark days will teach you lots.
Never look back unless it's to see how far you have come and don't give up...no matter what. Get back up, dust yourself off and repeat to yourself. I CAN DO THIS!!!
I hope people participate as I think we can all do with a little cheering on.

    I agree with everything you have said. Whole heartedly.
    I would add that lately I have been making a particular effort to be aware of how I feel each day. To really notice the small improvements in my energy level and how much better I seem to function when my sugars are lower. It is so wonderful to just feel better. To move with more ease because I am not sluggish or tired. That's a big payoff for me.
