The "full fat paradox" is only a paradox if you subscribe to the idea that dietary fat is the cause of diabetes. It honestly boggles my mind that anyone ever thought that.
A disorder of insulin and glucose. I know! It must be fat that causes it, even though fat has zero effect on either!1 -
I suppose "paradox" sells better than "blunder", "superstition", or "dogma", for what it's worth.
As you've suggested before, pardon the paraphrase, there ain't no paradoxes in medicine, just a basic absence of good information.0
