scale not moving

I have been doing this WOE for about 2 weeks. I lost about 3 pounds the first week but none since. I have noticed my clothes fit much better and I do feel somewhat better but have not got the energy burst as of yet. When I use the keto strips they are slightly pink but not truly pink. I have not exercised as of yet and was wondering if exercise would help get scale moving. I just started taking my measurements so I will keep track of that too. It is just nice to see the number moving down on the scale.

Stay the course-- women especially tend to have weeks with less weight loss, then weeks with a "whoosh" that makes up for it.

I am probably the biggest ignore the scale advocate! Lol
But seriously, I understand the frustration all too well.
    Hope this helps.

The scales are big fat liars. Sometimes they trick you into a false sence that they are the best way to measure our week, but they will show their true colours eventually. Yours must be in that mood early in the piece. Use other yard sticks, like what you have started in measurements and other NSV (non scale victories ) or your journey will be "pushing it uphill with a blunt stick". This whole thing is a mental journey. We can do it but only if our focus is clear and not overshadowed by distractions like the scale not telling the story we want. I love reading NSV posts to keep me motivated when I'm not seeing results I want or expect.

I know I have lived with my excess weight for many many years, and the 10 months I've been focusing on my woe will not totally undo the damage I've done. My body is still resetting itself to what should be my normal. Yours will continue to reset itself, but in areas you may not know nor see. Every day & week is a step in the right direction.

Enjoy the journey, stick to the plan, log your food, and the time will accumulate so your diligence pays off. I still cannot believe my results are down 82lb, it feels like I'm reading someone else's figures, but it's an accumulation of daily decisions (& many hourly decisions) all accumulated to just keep going. You can do this.

I'm with ya. Been doing keto for about five weeks, around 15 lbs down, but nothing for the last week - despite eating 1200 calories and workouts daily. But, the way I see it, it's progress, and it'll all work out to my benefit in the end. Trying not obsess over the scale, but rather commit to the best I can do every day.

Pictures pictures pictures...take some photos each month wearing the same thing and compare side by side. They will be your greatest motivation when the scale isn't moving.

Keep going, and ignore that scale! It's not your friend everyday! Accept that and focus on how you feel and those measurements!

    Loved your post @SuesNewImage!! <3
