I joined WW April 14th. I've lost 4.8lbs since my first meeting, but I won't believe it's working until I get past my weight block (the weight I can NEVER seem to get under). How is everyone liking smart points?
I've been a member of my fitness pal for years and only recently discovered their community. I just discovered the groups a few minutes ago and I immediately searched for weight watchers.4 -
@MyMomTurtle , I use the WW app. It is working great. I agree that it's not as user friendly as MFP but it still works well especially after you get used to it. I still double track with MFP just to keep up with my carbs and calories. I want to see what my diet looks like in terms of fat, carbs, etc.

I love the smartpoints program!!! So much better than pointsplus.5

MichelleP31, I love WW smartpoints! I feel like a professional dieter lol, because I've been on every diet known to mankind! WW teaches you how to eat real food, in the real world ... love that! I lost 44 pounds 10 years ago, and only now am starting to struggle with weight maintenance. Am using MFP to pinpoint better why that is. Stay committed to WW though ... you won't be disappointed!4

Thank you for telling me what you think about it. I'm enjoying them. I like that it forces me to eat less sugar, lol. I'm prediabetic and I need the extra push.3 -

I rejoined WW in January 2016. I have lost close to 60 WW lbs and 72.8 grand total lbs. I have around 40 more lbs to lose. I really love the Smart Points plan. It's very close to clean eating. I can't eat totally clean, as I have issues with hyperglycemia and still want to enjoy some treats occasionally. I am looking for some more friends on MFP, who are following WW too. So please fell free to send me a friend request. I actually track in 3 ways, on the WW app, MFP, and on paper. The reason that I like MFP is because I can keep track of my carbs, sugars, sodium etc.2

Add me. I just joined WW. I need people to be accountable to.0

Just started about a month ago. Saturday will make it 3 weeks. I've been on WW before, and I gain every time I leave. So, now that I don't have any food restrictions, I plan on staying with this group. I really like the leader.1

Hi all! Wanted to share what for me was a big 'aha' moment. I was facilitating a WW meeting focused on thinking 'beyond the scale ' when I realized that I've somehow slipped back into the old habit of allowing the scale to dictate my mood. I had gotten away from that years ago, but as I struggle to prevent regain I've become more scale-focused again. For July I'm going to journal all the good, healthy things I'm doing BEFORE my weekly weigh-ins as a reminder that I'm in a much better head space & am living healthier than I was 44 lbs ago ☺1

Usually, when I figure my MFP calories with my PP value, they are the same. I have 1200 calories set on my MFP account.

Mine usually is right about 1200 too. Depending on my fruit intake though. But I am doing WW on my own. I'm very sad about it, but I can't afford it at this time.0

It really doesn't work that way, although I wish it did. The algorithm is pretty sophisticated, and items with identical calories can have vastly different SPVs based on varying sugar, saturated fat and protein content. Also, I had DSP of 30 too, but my MFP calories is 1500!1 -
Hi all. Doing "Smart Bites" through the itrackbites app. Please add me.0

on the itrackbites app, can you put in your own daily number or does the app calculate it for you. I would like to set up for 30 smart points daily, thinking about getting it but not for sure.
