Well we have finally reached May I can only hope for some warm weather and just maybe our store manager will let us have this guy I like for our dept. I like him he is courteous , He's in college so he's willing to pick up extra hours over the summer and he's smart. We just have to get him from another dept. LOL
I don't even know what day straight I am on all I know I just have to make it to Thurs. My husband is like OMG you just may have a day off. He can be such a turd at times.
Goals this week
continue to pack lunches/dinners for work
lots of water
exercise in the morning when I get home I crash.
To bed early
somewhere some time get some more groceries.
Have a great week everyone!!! @barbhat13 I hope you did well at your race!!!
@CumberlandGrammy how are those grand babies doing and your garden?

Thanks for asking, @2020pinktogo . My garden is finally looking like a real garden. Logged over 15 hours this weekend working on it. More to plant... But for now, there's about 20 tomato plants (5 varieties, yum!), two types of summer squash, three varieties of beans, peas, carrots, three varieties of potatoes, okra, sunflowers, garlic, Thai basil, sweet basil, parsley, oregano, dill, two varieties of cukes, nasturtiums, pineapple sage, ... oh dear, so much else yet to plant! And really makes me so happy just being outside working up a sweat. My favorite way to burn calories - by growing them!
And my two little granddaughters are simply wonderful! I tell you, though, after nine hours of tending them and the 1.5 hour round trip commute each day, I am pretty whipped by the time I get home. But, it's awfully fun and simply a joy to have the privilege of providing their care.
But, gosh, @2020pinktogo , you've been working hard! Hope you do manage to get the help you need at work and some well deserved time off. Goodness, you are a good sport!
Sorry to be so chatty. I've been home alone all weekend with only the dog, chickens, and ducks to talk to.1 -
LOL @CumberlandGrammy I envy your garden I do pot plantings on my patio but I'm photosensitive so I can't be outside in the sun. I'm that person outside in long sleeves huge hat every inch of skin covered all year round. We also have a lot of deer who come right up to the front door and eat off my patio so planting isn't easy. this year will be a challenge for sure. last year I lugged everything in and out of the garage every night after they ate everything I looked like some crazy lady. LOL1

Critters eating all my tomatoes! But going to replant but nothing like Cumberland granny garden!
Life is more important than food Sooo
1. Careful carb counting back on paper... Not doing well with logging so this week going to old school with carb counting.
2. Gained weight last week so weight loss important this week.
3. Problem areas at work.... Vending machine junk and free pizza ( ate a piece offered to me even tho not hungry!) So plan to be mindful

Okay, after another day of sampling stupid food in the breakroom just because it is there, here is my week's goals:
I am going to report back daily, but since today is a fail I will go for 6/6, but for (4), where I could make 7/7.
(1) LOG everything and STOP unplanned snacking.
(2) Track sleep -- I have a tracker and find that it makes me more conscious and helps me improve sleep, but I fail to use it consistently. I think being tired is related to the snacking/will power issues, so commit to tracking all week. (This will also help me decide if I need to cut back on coffee.)
(3) Bring lunch.
(4) Do all planned workouts (including the swim I am trying to talk myself out of tonight, heh).1 -
Perhaps one should not go to a soup and salad bar after swimming. A day of too many calories and way too many carbs

Goals for this weekend and next week:
1. Focus on whole foods and cooking at home (that processed stuff keeps sneaking back in)
2. Sufficient sleep (thinking the food choices and gardening will help with this)
3. Time outside (plenty of gardening to do)

1. Careful carb counting back on paper... Not doing well with logging so this week going to old school with carb counting. amazed how high carb intake is.
2. Gained weight last week so weight loss important this week. one pound down
3. Problem areas at work.... Vending machine junk and free pizza ( ate a piece offered to me even tho not hungry!) So plan to be mindful only one vending machine this week. And one junky work unplanned snack.
