@NewOR2015 You're a good daughter I 'm sure you will have to take the other dog too. If not just because he/she will be lonely for the other dog. I haven't been online much this week I took a blow to the head and have had severe headaches. This is the first day my head is not sore to the touch. No I did not go to the Dr's as I was too busy with my folks. Today no headache and no pain. :) I figure if I could work and not make any mistakes I was good. LOL

    @JMarcella57 Thanks for the support.
@2020pinktogo How did you hurt your head? Did you get in a match with @CaptainBoing?

One more thing, to make things worse this weekend, I dropped my phone in the toilet!!! I rescued it right away (ewwww), gave it a quick rinse, toweled it dry, and have it sitting in a container of rice for 3 days just like it says on the internet. :)

LOL @NewOR2015 Oh no she'd whoop my butt. I was cleaning for the safety inspector and a tote fell on my head. My boss was like there is no one to cover your shifts you can not get hurt. I was like I have to take care of my parents I can not be hurt. But I was worried I had done some damage til the pain went away.

My phone went through a heavy duty wash cycle with an extra rinse. It's still working. I was so sad the day I saw it in the bottom of the washer. I wanted to call my boss and say this is a bad omen I won't be in but I couldn't as her number was in my phone. LOL I was right the day was bad I should have went back to bed. ;)

If the bump was hard enough to affect you that way, I would get it checked out. Also, just as a precaution, be cautious with your head for 6 weeks! I am struggling because I didn't take the necessary precautions after a minor bump which I didn't think was that serious. If it was a concussion, even a minor one and you injure it again within 6 weeks it could be very serious! I have a friend who really had a rough recovery after she thought she had recovered, because it was hurry again.

I know My dad had a brain bleed a few years ago. So I was watching for all the symptoms of that and concussion. But I will be cautious with my head for the whole summer. I haven't had a seizure in ten years and I don't want to start again.

Been struggling a bit for the past couple of weeks with some unhealthy habits finding their way back into my life. :( This week, I will be more focused on the joy of whole food prep and outdoor gardening. I will try to include some updates as the week progresses. It's a healthy lifestyle that's sustainable and enjoyable. I look forward to feeling better, sleeping better and basically being better this week. :)

Well I guess I am training a new person next week. My boss said we have no choice but to give her a try as I go on vacation in two weeks. I feel apprehensive as this girl knifed a guy. Are we getting someone worse than crazy? Plus my boss is like oh well Laura will be pissed but what ever works. Oh Lord help me. ;)

LOL Well I'm not suppose to know about what she did but I know everything.LOL
I work in a grocery store it makes you think twice about ticking off your cashier granted I'm at the service counter but you all know who I work with. And our newest person is coming from the cashiers. Oh give me strength and just let me train her and get through this. ;)

I never thought 24 years ago I would be still here but when my husband left and my daughter was diagnosed with diabetes and I had health insurance I stayed put. I can honestly say if I did my life all over again I would probably not do college again. Paying off those loans granted it made me who I am today but still. One thing I would think twice about.

I would do college again but pick a different field. My dad paid for my college, and I have helped my kids pay for theirs. I'm all for education, but I understand there are different types of education. And nowadays a college education doesn't guarantee a career so it's a risk.

Totally agree @NewOR2015 maybe a different field. I too helped my daughter the difference being I let her follow her own path. As hard as it was I never tried to sway her and it was hard. I really wanted her to be a pharmacist but she would have nothing to do with that. Can't complain too much her boyfriend is going to school to become one. I just may get that pharmacist in the family. LOL ;) Kind of funny his family is pushing for them to get married and I'm always saying you're young take your time.

Not posting my weigh-in info because I've not been sticking to my plan. I'm not going to stress over it. I will keep trying. I am hoping for a new wave of motivation to come my way.

today was feel guilty about the chips from yesterday so I actually did more grocery shopping and made up serving size bags of meat already cooked ready to go. Like I use to last summer then I got lazy and oh well. So I should be good for a while which is good as I spent a ton of money. Plus I ran into a guy who wants to go to the park to walk tonight so OK will do that too. Heard he has a new girlfriend so it should be safe and we are going to the park when my friend and her husband are there. I walked with him last year but I was more serious about walking and he was more serious about socializing. That's when I was out of shape this year I'm going to crush him like a bug. ;) Let's see if he can keep up with me I already warned him I go 3 miles. LOL Hubby laughed and said lets see you break your record time I don't want to kill the guy. Hope everyone has had a great day!!!

I had been wanting to walk more, and rain kept interfering. Right now, the sun is shining, and of course I don't feel like walking anymore.

I might not be walking any faster than I used to, but I am surely able to walk a lot further. I used to tell the kids to go get the mail from our community mailbox. That's how lazy I was. Now, getting the mail is nothing.

Finally planted something in my vegetable garden this morning. At least it's something. So far, I'm eating better this week, sleeping better and not eating out. I haven't started back with logging yet. But I'm happy to say that the "sweets" cravings are gone now and I should be ready to start tracking again.

@JMarcella57 Congrats on getting those sweet cravings aside. I wish I could get to that point again. That really makes a difference.

I had such an amazing day! Three hours of Brazilian Jui Jitsu, which included an amazing seminar. A forest walk and a long lunch with great people. Happy heart.

sounds like a great day @CaptainBoing I am hoping for some sun /warmth today so I can work on my front garden. something that has taken a back seat to my parents stuff for a few years. I would love to say my house is on the priority list but for the last I think 13 my husband has been taking care of his fathers house. Now mind you his father has been dead going on 7 years but the siblings are dragging their *kitten* doing anything. I am a mover and shaker it took my mom and I 2 months when we moved my grandmother and we could have done it faster if the woman wasn't still hoarding as we were moving her. ;)

It's how I try to donate and delete as much as possible as I only have one child and my husband is a pack rat so I delete when ever I can so she won't have to do as much one day.

On a happy note my daughter stopped in to see me at work and she had semi normal colored hair. This truly made me happy. I'm sure she is due to dye it but she looked so nice I'm going to hope she is going to go natural. :)

I guess I'm going to have to check the weather I feel like Pooh Bear Tut Tut it looks like rain oh well I guess I will have to do something else if it does. have a great day everyone!!

@2020pinktogo Your daughter sounds like me! The latest was bright purple for my Jui Jitsu competition! I have also shaved it three times, one of them it was a mohawk first. I am leaving it natural for a while though so I can grow it out nicely and donate it to cancer wigs. One of my best friends just had a double mastectomy, so I'm doing this for her!

@CaptainBoing Donating hair is a wonderful act of friendship. There are so many people with cancer today.
@2020pinktogo I, too, am all for "less is best." My mom has kept stuff that she got after each of my grandparents passed away, and now after 60+ years in the same house I would say her house is full. Plus, she has stuff in my late grandmother's vacant house next door. She also saves her empty medicine bottles, toilet paper tubes, empty coffee jars, etc, just in case she needs them for something someday. My house is empty compared to hers, and I love it that way.

Well I didn't end up gardening my coworker's husband died and lo and behold she is the step mom of my kindergarten bff. I went to the wake this afternoon and he literally cried when I walked in and saw me. He was like Friends forever I'm like I got your back bud.

I think donating hair is a great thing my hair doesn't grow so I always buy hats whenever I fall into a deal and they are snazzy jazzy make you smile type of hats they go in the cart. then there is this old guy who raises money for Roswell our cancer hospital every year and I hand him the box of hats to take down every year. He's like don't you want to come I'm like nope you are the ambassador of goodwill I'm just your little elf. :)

@NewOr2015 LOL if your mom can't get over to grandma' s house I would slowly start getting rid of the margarine bowls & toilet paper tubes from over there. Not kidding you my grandmother had over 500 margarine containers then we moved onto cool whip you would have thought we were throwing away money the way she carried on. I literally had to put things in my car and throw it out at my house. My favorite thing I did was to put my grandfather's playboy's in the church's paper recycle. My mom made me jump in the box and cover it with papers so no one would see them. LOL It still makes me laugh to think about it.

Love the "grandfather's playboy's in the church's paper recycle" comment. That gave me a good laugh.
Yesterday, I was able to get some gardening and yard work done. Today is all about office and laundry. Fun times!
    Wishing everyone a terrific week.
