Some Kind of Skew When Entering Swimming Numbers

I'm doing about 150-230 minutes per day of exercise of various types. For the most part things are fine. However, when I swim I take my BMF Link off of course, so afterwards I enter in the calories. I have been doing that on MFP under the exercise section. However, when I do this something seems to be going wrong because much of those calories burned seems to get deducted from what I should have been burning. My overall calories burned shows up lower than they should. I'm wondering whether I'm doing something wrong. Any insights?

You have to edit your off-body time on you activity manager for the link. Unfortunately you can only do this on your computer not your mobile device. You can however just upload from your mobile device then open up your activity manager on the website. When you look at you graph for calories burned if you have had time with you armband off body it should say "edit off body". Click on that and then enter the amount of time and the activity you are doing there.

When you add exercise in MFP it does subtract from the amount bodymedia puts in. This is for people like me that like to have a log of what exercise I am doing in MFP but don't want to double count the calories burned.

    I hope that makes sense.
