Hi There,
48 year old guy form the UK, recently went on a trip to Rome and realized that even walking was an effort.
'Time for a change'.........
I am motivated to do this, but will certainly need support and encouragement along the way, so looking for friends to add me and I will certainly provide support back.

Hi, I am a 49 year old lady, also from the UK. Totally get it "even walking was an effort". It's a shock isn't it as this has been happening to me too.. It's a big effort to walking about or do the exercise as it is almost painful. For me what seems to work is allocating "times for eating". E.g. 10.00 am ; 12.15pm, 4.15 pm and 6.30 pm I find this keeps my hunger in check. When I don't do this, I am eating on the go and hitting restaurants twice a week and fast food places like McDonalds or KFC etc.
I am in despair about my lack of routing, so I am desperately trying to stick to these times so that I can manage my eating better.
This site is great as there is an awful lot of support here. All the best0 -
ps. I don't feel like an "old lady" in fact in my mind I am very young at heart but my body is telling me otherwise... being heavy makes you more tired and less willing to socialise as I know I feel more self=-conscious.0
