I'm averaging about 30g carb/day. I'm also eating well below my daily caloric burn.
Aside from saitity, I can't see why to keep my carbs this low or go even lower.
Don't get me wrong I love this WOE and intend to keep it up even after hitting my goal weight.
Was just thinking that my actual carb intake will be more important when I am eating close to my caloric burn rate then it is now.
My thinking is correct?

What is your goal, are you trying to lose weight or trying this WOE primarily to arrest diabetes or some other health problem?0

I've been very low carb (<10) for a year, and feel awesome! I can't find a good reason to increase them. The few times I've tested higher carb, with veggies, haven't been fun (those things aren't good for my intestines!)! So, I stay vlc!
But yes, it depends on your goals. If it's for health, I don't see a reason to increase them (why mess with what helps). If it's for weight loss, and you succeed, an increase might be needed for maintenance. Otherwise, KCKO (Keep Calm and Keto On!)!
Congratulations on your success so far!!!0 -
I'm down 80+ lbs with 20 to go. I think I might lower my tw though.
Feel like a million bucks.
I have no trouble hitting my carb targets but was thinking that I don't have to be so disciplined until I switch to maintenance.
Having said that I don't feel like I am missing out on anything.1
