Oatmeal question

On the package, it says 1/2 cup is 160 cals, 3 fibres, 29 carbs and 5 proteins. In the MFP database, it has the same numbers, but it says cooked.
So, is that 1/2 cup measured before cooking (because honestly, who would eat it raw), or do I have to double it because it becomes 1 cup when cooked?

I use 1/2 cup steel cut oats cooked and I think it has 15 carbs in it that serving. The interesting thing is that on the diabetic food handout I got from CDA it says 3/4 c cooked for 15 carbs. I would rather over estimate than over. My dietician told me that for me 1/2 cup cooked is a serving for me. I am going by what she said. Some people eat the overnight oats but I am not one of them haha I love it cooked!!

Well, I had a cup cooked, and doubled the numbers. I'm eating bland, 'full fluids' today because the hamburger I had for supper seems to be causing some pain today. Full fluid is a step up from clear fluids.
