Like extra electrolytes or something? Too. Much. Yard Work, this weekend. I am going to try to squeeze in an epsom salt bath later tonight, but not sure there will be enough time.

TIA for any advice!

Do you take a magnesium supplement?

    I find that helps.

Definitely take it easy...try not to lift too many heavy things hahaha.

You are already doing the main thing I was going to suggest - the Epsom salt bath, as your body will absorb the magnesium and the muscles will be happy with the warm water ;)

I guess I'll have to cram that bath into my schedule, so I can walk without wincing tomorrow

Drink lots of water. Take a OTC pain killer too.

I find doing some kind of gentle exercise like walking or yoga really helps...even if it doesn't feel like it at the time. :)

One word: Taurine (it's an amino acid). Whenever I'm really sore, I take Taurine and it really helps with the soreness.

Thanks all! I'm going to try to incorporate a bunch of your suggestions over the next day or so. Usually I don't get so sore, but when I work out, I usually stretch. Didn't think of that for the yard work
