I've been doing this for almost 50 days and I've lost 13 lbs. Now all of a sudden I am gaining and I don't know why. I track everything and I'm not going over. I did have a cheat on Saturday but other than that I'm pretty good. I have an open diary for friends if you want to see it send me a request. Thanks!

Just keep plugging away, one cheat probably won't make you gain real weight, but it can cause you to retain more fluids. Also if you've incorporated more exercise that will cause some fluid retention as well.

Unfortunately the scale isn't the best way to measure progress, though it seems to be the one relied on the most, especially in the beginning. 13 lbs in 50 days is pretty impressive, so you are clearly doing what is right for your body. Now your body is kinda freakin out a little and holding onto some stuff. Just keep going, no need to change anything, the lbs will start dropping off again.

Weight loss is never a straight line. Sometimes it'll go down, then up, then down, then stop, then drastically drop, then stop again.

Are you taking any other measurements?

Things you might not be tracking that can also affect things: water, sleep, stress, meal timing, busy-ness, non-macro food changes (ie, are you cooking chicken at home or eating chicken at a restaurant? Are you eating fresh veggies or cooked?), time of month (mainly for females, but there is a cycle for men as well), outdoor time, exercise & steps

How many days have you been showing the increase? Is it just since the cheat day? Any other new foods or behaviors? New stressor in life or from new exercise?

Do you consume artificial sweeteners? The only time I've had consistent scale increases, while eating LCHF, was while using sugar free DaVinci coffee syrup (splenda). It can create an inflammatory response for some, leading to scale increases. Some will have food cravings too from them, but that wasn't the case for me. I hope you figure out what is causing yours!

Stress, salts, inflammation, exercise, TOM and body just taking its own sweet time to adjust to ongoing changes. My body changes shape whilst not changing weight and after that awesome loss that you had my body would be doing some reconfiguration. Patience n keep going. Apologies for repeat but basically as folk above said. Good luck.
