Hi there, I'm new to the group and so glad I found it. I've low carbed before with excellent results, but last year slipped into my old pizza munching ways so have about 20lbs to shift. I'm currently trying to keep carbs to 20-30g to give myself a kick start and eating quite high fat to quell the sugar craving.
This time I'm 4 days in and today I'm suffering with what I hope is carb flu and not real flu! Any tips for diminishing this would be welcomed. I've drunk some bouillon about an hour ago and I think I feel slightly better, and also taken a magnesium supplement today.

1) You are drinking plenty of water, right?
2) Add salt and/or NuSalt (potassium) to that water.
3) Eat a pickle and/or drink pickle juice.0 -
Welcome! Yes read the posted above! Hope you feel better quick!0

Not to be funny but 5 bouillon cubes a day isn't really enough sodium
at the start of LC with that few carbs.
The more water you drink the more time in the bathroom,
again more sodium you lose.
For the first couple weeks salt & plenty of it is your friend.

Welcome (back). Also, your pizza munching days need not be over. Just google low carb fathead pizza.0

I have pizza a few times a week. But I don't make a crust. Just bake the cheese and toppings on parchment paper, tear and eat.3
