So today I made some bad decisions (buttery crackers, gold fish) and it put me over my calorie goal BUT I jumped on the bike for thirty minutes to make up for it. Just wanted to ramble about it a bit.

That is a great way to burn through some unwanted carbs, as long as it is a tool, and not punishment.1
