Anyone else notice your teeth don't get gross now that you are low carb/sugar? That is one of the first things i appreciated! I hate yucky feeling teeth lol.

Yes! Only yesterday I noticed my mouth felt different. Amazing.

Always thought that sugar caused the coating.

Definitely. The last time I was at the dentist, he said "not much to clean here!"

Yep. My gum issues that I've have most of my life (inflamed, easily inflamed, and bled every single time floss touched them) have also improved. The dentist actually commended me on my teeth one of my last visits.

Yes, I've had all those improvements over the years with low carb version of paleo. I also notice my current WOE dramatically improved GI tract problems, which mean I am not getting blocked sinuses, nor phlegm being created in my GI tract to protect it form the acid reflux.

Both of those things- sinuses clear, so all nose breathing means mouth is not so - cotton wool - in the morning. And, especially no acid in esophagus or stomach means no phlegm and mucous being created which adds to mouth grunginess. Great isn't it.

Now that you mention it...I used to wake up in the morning and before I did anything I brushed my teeth because of that miserable feeling. I'd also feel a coating around dinner time most days....you are right...totally gone. I can actually shower before I brush my teeth these days!
