Marla - I had a similar issue with my eating yesterday...but involving ice cream. Waaaaaaaay to much of it!
I'm going to try and crack down on my calories this week. Mainly because I don't have a lot of extra things going on and when I've been overeating and then try to rein it back in I have a propensity for migraines. So I need a week where I can take the afternoons to sleep it off if it happens or crash early. Next week I teach VBS all week and the following week I am a counselor at kids camp. The other motivation for me being, at camp it will be hard to overeat. Which is good in some ways, but not a good place to be sprouting migraines. It's up in the mountains so the elevation will trigger them as well. So long story short, I need to get my eating back in control now so my next few weeks are enjoyable. *fingers crossed*
Aside from disgusting myself with how much junk I ate yesterday and the day before, I had a good day. I got everything done I needed to, also got a nap in, and spent some time with the kids. Also, my struggles with my temper with the kids seems to be resolving. I was taking my frustrations with being overworked by church stuff and hubby (none of which they put on me...I just kept taking on extra stuff) and even though they didn't pick up well, I didn't lose my cool at them since I'm getting the other stuff into better balance.
Today we're headed to the movies in the morning and a friends house in the evening. Gonna camp out in my room in the afternoon and get some putzy computer stuff done. Should be fun and hopefully a calm day.0 -
Walk on beach this morning with hubby then we worked in yard. Feels good to finally have time to start one of our projects we had to put off due to weather, trips and company.
My younger daughter comes tomorrow, lives in Texas so I don't see her much, actually married to military so move every 2-3 yrs.0
