@sufferlandrian - I too find my breath taken away by your images. . . . and you cycle up there. My cycling sometimes takes me to 65 ft above sea-level . . . and that's a big climb. LOL.
But then again, in the uk we can barely describe any of our hills as mountains.

@ Dean - gorgeous shots again. Thanks for sharing. All I took today is a shot of about 20 geese blocking half the trail as I walked by, not making eye contact. They're always grouchy. And two Bambis ran by me at one point, that was much nicer than cranky geese.
4.3 mile walk. I was going to go early, went outside and found out my Fitbit was dead when I hit the timer. So, while it charged I took myself to the gym and lifted instead. Can't walk if the steps don't count, right?
The part of me with the numbers OCD would normally be walking around to get the 0.2 miles I'm under, but I think I'm mellowing. I'll get it tomorrow.

Well, I slept funky on my neck last night so my whole upper body is killing me. I thought I'd try spin class anyway, but the reaching forward for the handlebars was too painful. So, I got off the bike and went and did some hip exercises and a bunch of stretching. I'm more sore than when I started, but I have a little bit better range of motion. Missing spin class today is definitely going to make meeting goal this month a big question mark. Oh well.
I did get 1.3 miles of walking in yesterday. MTD: 20.90 -

Spent part of yesterday at work and part of the day helping my mom get some flowers planted and things done around her house. Not many steps and the time in the car doesn't really add any walking miles either. I was able to get some time on the treadmill last night while watching TV.
Added 2.5 miles for a June total of 80 miles.

2.7 miles today. I'm going to NYC in the morning until Tuesday night so I won't have access to my ticker. I'm going to log a portion of the miles I accumulate since it'll be more than normal but it's not really for exercise purposes - although I will need to help negate the carb overload I'm going to get from all the bagels and pizza.

Dean, those pictures are pretty amazing.
Walked w/DH this morning then got on the recumbent for 48 mins and an episode of Banshee then worked out to a 30 min strength DVD then I went shopping!! A great Saturday!

We are at our cabin & I did NOTHING today. We had a pot luck cabin owners meeting at noon that lasted 3 hrs & after that I just lounged on our deck & moved the sprinkler. I dread next week. I and my co-workers go to OPI nutrition meetings all week. It's a 5 hr drive & I HATE sitting through meetings. They make me TIRED. I will have to go to the fitness room before sessions.0

Happy father's day. My husband just left on another fishing trip so I'm back on dog walking duty. Yesterday was an entire day of meetings, including one where I had to make a major presentation. Glad that's behind me - preparing for it took a huge chunk of my time. No miles for me so far this weekend, but once I get some rest and recover I plan to get back on track. Well, just as soon as I get the house cleaned again. It's amazing what a mess the rest of the family can make in a single day when mom isn't around to pick up!!0
