A Labor Day Challenge is a great idea! I prefer short-term challenges because I have a very short attention span!!0

I'm all for a Labor Day Challenge! That's 8 weeks--July 9 thru September 2. I'll start this off.
Current weight: 143.4
Goal weight: 135
Going to keep up with the strength training, but try to lift heavier. Need to get back into some more cardio again because I have slacked off.0 -
I'm completely up for a Labor Day challenge! It's my first one!

That's 27 pounds in 8 weeks. I'm only 2 months post-op so not totally sure what my body can do yet! But here it goes!0 -
hmmmmmmmmmm this could be fun

I've significantly slowed weight loss as I've already surpassed my realistic goal weight. My new overall goal weight is just 145. That's 12 pounds less than I am now, but since my weight loss has slowed a bit (and I don't mind as long as I don't go up!), I really only hope to reach that by my 18 month post op mark (November 14th). So if I'm trying to lose 12 lbs in 4 months, I'll just shoot for 7 in the next 2 months til labor day.

Sounds great! I've never done a "challenge" before so here it goes!

I'm in!

It is reaching a bit at my current wl rate, but I think I can do it! Im going to start training for a 5K where I actually do some running, so that might help!0 -
Great!
My goal is to continue to get the gym 2-3 times a week for cardio and strength training classes. Need to get out on my bike more too but it has been so hot and humid lately. As far as weight goal to continue to maintain my weight at 130 or under that!
Good luck to everyone!0 -
