New to group and wanted to introduce myself

Hi there my name is Tisha and I've been dabbling in a low carb lifestyle since the beginning of May. I have been keto for about 6 days now and think I have found my way to succeed. I have realized over the past month or so that carbs are the driving force behind my overeating/ food addiction. The more carbs I eat the more I want. This morning I baked cookies with my daughter and for the first time ever I had zero interest in having one. She asked if I was going to have one and I actually said " no sweetie, if mommy has one I'll want ten more." Realizing the power carbs have had over me is a huge NSV for me. Anyways looking for other low carb friends plz feel free to add me.

Read th Launch Pad, especially the post on electrolytes! You're off to a wonderful start! Congratulations on avoiding the cookies!! Brought me back to a year ago, when I baked brownies for my son's class party (he was a senior, so it was his last school party), and managed to not eat any! This builds strength for next time too!
