Hi all - does this group still have any active members?
I'm a female coach who is coaching boys gymnastics. I've taught for over 30 years both gymnastics and martial arts. Competed back in the 70's with wooden beams, wooden rails on the uneven bars and wooden boards with the curved wooden leaf spring. We didn't have a spring floor, we just put the panel mats where ever you thought your tumbling passes were going to be. State meet was always great because we had a full 40 x 40 floor mat. Ah, those were the days.
