I'm currently low carb not full on keto since I am allowing myself 40 g carbs per day. During the week I stick to a pretty regular schedule and I'm having trouble meeting calories. I started with 1200 a day and then lowered it to 1000 because I just wasn't meeting it because I was full on what I am eating. I have a very sedentary job but I'm going to the gym 2-3 a week for about an hour. The only issue I am experiencing is fatigue at the end of the day.I'm wiped out! I'm close to my 30 day so I don't think it's the lc flu. What do you all think? also I'm a type 2 diabetic, maybe I need my meds lowered?'advice is much appreciated :-)

40g carbs definitely puts you into Keto.
The fatigue and the appetite suppression you're describing also fits that you've achieved ketosis. Here's some info on sodium and electrolyte needs.

Get more sodium ASAP. You should perk up within 15 minutes or so once you get enough.
As far as meds, how's your blood sugar? You would want to have a good history of blood sugar readings showing that the meds needs to be lowered to call your doctor about.

Thank you for your input! I will try to uptake my sodium when i feel down like that. My blood sugars are looking great but i noticed they are dropping really low if i miss a snack.

Definitely sounds like a call to the doctor is in order for lowering meds.
    How low are they going?

How often are you testing BG and how are your numbers running?

I test fast at wake up, and after dinner. I am supposed to take 1000mg twice a day of Metformin and 30mg Actos once a day. since my waking numbers have been in the low 90's without the evening Metformin I only take it once a day. After dinner my numbers are still in the high 90s-100's which I think is low but my blood sugars are awesome on low carb. The other day I accidentally ate a popsicle that I thought was sugar free and my waking blood sugar was 145. Low carb will be the way I will eat for the rest of my life.I just don't like feeling so tired. I have two little boys to keep up with lol
