How is month 2 of Insanity.

Hi all,

I am currently in my recovery week. Just wondering how month 2 is compared to the first month. I just was able to follow along the full program without any breaks my last week. Just wondering what am I in for. Any comments. Thanks. If anyone want to add me as a friend they are more than welcome.

    Month 2 is definitely hard, but I think that's primarily because it's longer, I only find the exercises marginally more difficult. But either way, I MUCH prefer the month 2 exercises to the month 1 ones. For example, I hated pure cardio in month 1, but I love it in month 2. Overall it's much more enjoyable in month 2, in my opinion, which might be why I don't find it exponentially more difficult than month 1. Don't worry, you'll do great!

    I agree. It's hard, but I like month 2 so much better than month 1! There is a wider variety of exercises that Shaun T puts into different combinations which actually makes them more fun, and I haven't gotten completely bored like I did with the month 1 workouts. I even like the warm-up more in month 2. Just be prepared to be sore again!!! By the way, I'm almost in my last week of my second round of month 2, and it's still killer! I'll send you a FR, I'd love to have some guy friends on here!

    On day of month two and I did not realise it would feel this much harder. I felt great afterwards though! It's pretty intense but fingers crossed it gets easier!

    Just did my first day of month two. I must say it was tough. It kicked my *kitten* but I must say I feel great. I use a heart rate monitor and the calories burned were a lot higher than the first month. The only thing I don't like is the workout time jumps to about a hour.

    I am on the second round of Insanity. Finished the 2nd month a little over a week ago. Month 2 is definitely harder, and takes a little more time....but it soooo worth it! Yesterday I did the "Upper Body Weight Training" video (extra in my pack) and was able to do the exercises properly and effectively without major struggle like I would have 2 months ago. Keep going...you'll be glad you did!
