Primal sweet snacks

I think one of the biggest challenges since starting Primal Blueprint is such low amounts of fruit. The variety of melons and berries at the farmers markets this time of year are something I look forward to in our normal dark and rainy neck of the woods. We probably get a months worth of sun here(all year) and it really makes me crave more fruit.
Can you share your favorite Primal sweet snacks? Low carb fruits?
I am trying to stay under 100 g of carbs a day as I still have a few pounds to shed but I think when I am able to have up to 150g a day and summer is gone it will be much much easier.

"Sweet snacks" and "low-carb" simply don't match, and I would really eat a piece of fruit, instead of a sweet "paleo" treat.
Furthermore, Mark Sisson actually encourages fruit consumption, he just gives some caveats. Have you actually read the Primal Blueprint book?

Since when has the full array of fruit been demonized in paleo/primal? Nevermind. I think it's time to find another group or just not belong to one at all. Constant talk here about the consumption grains, white potato, and choosing paleo "treats" over fresh fruit. And most importantly, paleo/primal is NOT inherently low carb. I've said that so many times, I just can't be bothered anymore. I give up.

Did you forget the group is a support group? Or do you just feel the need to *kitten* at everyone to make yourself feel better.

Berries are lower carb and pack a great nutrient bang for their carb buck. They're my favorite treat :) If you're primal, whip up some heavy whipping cream to top them with or dip them in.

Once you adjust to a diet without added or artificial sweetener, you'll find that you taste the subtle sweetness of foods better. Bell peppers are sweet, roasted Brussels sprouts take on a caramelized flavor, 90% dark chocolate tastes fantastic now.

PaleoMom has a lot of dessert recipes, but they're not all low-carb. Her walnut-fudge recipe can be made with far less sweetener than the recipe calls for.

There's a great recipe for Orange Coconut Bites, I forget the exact name/ site. It's made of coconut butter, coconut oil, orange zest, and orange juice. The recipe calls for a sweetener but I usually skip it or cut it down. I've made them with other citrus fruits, too.

There's a Paleo fudge recipe by Meatified, I think, that is coconut butter, coconut oil, and fruit purée, again skip the sweetener if you want. These make great fat bombs, if you're following a LCHF version of Paleo/primal.

For sweet snacks I like toasted coconut flakes, any fruit, sweet potato or pumpkin mashed with vanilla extract and and little coconut milk and sprinkled with cinnamon. There's a 100% cacao chocolate bar that has dried dates in it which is EXCELLENT if you're willing to be a little spendy. http://www.antidotechoco.com/shop-bars/raw-100-dates-antidote

Oh, and if you tolerate dairy (primal style) blueberries mashed with a couple of tablespoons of mascarpone.
