Creative new writer has a 3 book series about a 700 year future where society is broken into "colors" --Golds rule, most cruelly; pinks serve as sexual slaves, obsidians guard, oranges are mechanics, each color is your place for life, and Reds, the lowest of all, live underground on Mars, believing the lie they are prepping the plant for future humans as they suffer and die never seeing the stars.
Above where Reds never see great cities already exist while they slave in the mines....change must happen, and a rogue force grooms a young Red to become Gold, and ruin the society once and for all..I am finishing book2, and I can't wait to start book 3..all the brutality of Roman war culture, and the amazing futuristic tech, tools and ships the author describes entertain thoroughly!
