Will you all please share with me your favorite whole food sources of protein? I am having a hard time getting enough each day. Thank you!

    Hello... welcome to the group. This is a great read about vegan protein sources vrg.org/nutrition/protein.php. A little ways down they list a bunch of food and the protein content.

    I get most of mine from beans and whole grains. I do use raw fit or other vegan protein powders at times, but I really don't know if they are necessary. I just like them in my smoothies. I love lentils and they are protein packed. The green French lentils are really good for salads and things as they stay firmer. I eat a lot of chickpeas and black beans too. I also have tempeh or tofu once or twice a week.
