Positive benefits of LCHF

I was curious to hear about some of the benefits you guys have experienced from changing your WOE. I myself changed to a LCHF woe to finally break the cycle of "lose 10 and gain back 5" I had while on a low fat diet and not for any other real health reasons. Since I switched over 5 weeks ago I've lost 8 lbs. I've also had a few other positive side effects I didn't expect like I no longer feel bloated at night and my bad knee isn't sore nearly as often. I also completely feel in charge of my eating as I don't really experience cravings for sugary crap or chips anymore. What about everyone else ? What changes benefits have you experienced?

My skin is clearer and the haze that I was living my life in is clearing up. I felt constantly draggy and unmotivated. I feel some of that weight lifted. I feel I have more purpose and a little more confident. I'm gaining back my happy self where I find myself constantly talking to people and enjoying different things. I'm looking forward to seeing how I'm doing in a few months and taking back the active lifestyle I used to have.

There was a major thread posted about this exact subject/topic a while back that got REALLY long. Unfortunately, I'm not very good at searching threads in MFP. Perhaps one of the other members could post a link to it...(lookin' at you KnitorMiss!!). :)<3

Pretty much what everyone else has already said. And I'm actually consuming less calories and more vegetables this way (which is easy since I love veggies).

I can go longer without food because I no longer get hangry, my skin has cleared up, I have increased energy, and I am the smallest I have been since high school (which was ten years ago) :)
