Hey guys. I have a quick question. I know that in counting calories the more active you are the more calories you need. Is that true when counting carbs? The husband and I are about start getting back into working out and training. Currently I am trying to stay at 40g of carbs per day. I've seen slow consistent weight loss (about .75 to 1 lb per week) My current activity level is fairly low- I have a desk job- but this week I will start doing strength training as well as cardio. Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks in advance!!

More carbs are not necessary for increased physical activity.
Once you become fat adapted, you will not be using glucose for energy as much. I would say that your 40g limit will be enough.
Be sure to watch your electrolytes and know that endurance/strength may decrease as your body is learning to use its new fuel source.4 -
Thanks! That's what I thought, But I wanted to make sure I was on the right track.0
