How to get my body to stay In ketosis

I've been on this way of eating and lifestyle change for three weeks. I am having difficulty with getting into a good state of ketosis. I've had my blood pricked and it's shown .7 which I was told a good rate of burning fat is 1.5-3.5. And on the urine stick I'm usually trace or small. I'm frustrated bc I'm keeping my calories low (approx 1200) and my carbs at 20g. The weight is at a stand still. How can I get to ketosis and stay there. Any suggestions on how to get fat adapted. I am doing IF. (Fasting)

You are in ketosis. Anyone telling you that number needs to be higher to lose weight is simply wrong.3

To feel my best I do not like my blood ketone levels much over 2. Over 3 I feel wilted for sure. Now that I am only going for nutritional Ketosis three days a week high ketone levels are not happening.
After nearly two years of full time nutritional ketosis I am finding better weight loss when I replace some of my high fats with whole carbs. Clearly ketosis is not key to my current weight loss.
I still think LCHF is best to resolve some types of health issues based on my personal experience over the past two years. I did lose weight when I was full time LCHF.
When I first started LCHF in Oct 2014 I did not lose a pound for six weeks but did lose an inch in the waist and my fat jaws.
Do not rush this thing. If there are serious health concerns that have developed over time we need to give them some time to resolve. I only lost weight and help it off after I stopped dieting and started eating with the only goal of living longer and with better health.
Weight loss I feel is automatic in my case as my health recovers. A new one for me was a few weeks ago I had the desire for beef liver with onions and three sides of vegetables. It takes me out of ketosis but leads to weight loss in my case.
I do not think this would be the case had I not spent nearly two years in full time ketosis however maintaining at 200 pounds for a year eating 2500 calories of LCHF daily.
Weight loss in my case is not just CICO for sure. My body should have replaced most all of my liver over these past two years that I have been off sugar and all forms of grains eating LCHF for example.1 -
You will not always show ketones in urine when using ketostix. They only show excess ketone bodies excreted via urine (acetoacetate) but tell you nothing about the level of ketones in your bloodstream (BHB) which is most probably higher. If you are eating 20mg of carbs or less and have logged this correctly for 3 weeks, you are in ketosis.3
