July Goals - 130 miles (OH MY last July I had 127 miles!!!)
    - 10 over 10,000 steps
    - Golf more (still not enough!! - only 3 rounds this month)
    - Organize, organize organize!! (Not happening so far :( )

    Running total = 85.2 miles (6/10,000)

July 24 - 2.4 miles (and 4 hours sitting in the car!!)
    July 25 - 3 miles
    July 26 - 4.6 miles (10133 steps - 7/10,000)

Thank goodness for unpacking the car and putting the groceries away when we got home from the city, or I would have never made the 10,000 steps.

mlh good luck with the house, I hope it sells fast. And would there be a mall close to you where you could walk - it would be cooler.

majic - cheers - here is to feeling better this week.

bananas - you will make your goal - there are 5 days left!! I need 3 more days too!!

"Make the choices during the planning stage...you plan it out! You don't wait until your only option is a fast food restaurant. It's too late then, Whitney. You're not that strong. Don't leave it to willpower."

That was Will talking to Whitney in My Big Fat Fabulous Life. He is an excellent coach and will not listen to anymore excuses. And man, is she full of them.

For me, I like his style. I wish I had him as a coach. In the meantime, I will take his advice to heart and think that he was speaking to me.

Willpower...for me, that is why I cannot have certain foods in the house. I have no willpower.

I made five mason jar salads on Sunday to use during the week. Made up chicken breasts so I had some good protein. Last night...tired after work, had a mason jar salad and added avocado and chicken. Delish. Did my planning on Sunday...and it meant there were no choices to make...the decisions were already made when my resistence was low. Happy and proud me.

July Goals - 130 miles (OH MY last July I had 127 miles!!!)
    - 10 over 10,000 steps
    - Golf more (booked a tee time for 12:30 Saturday)
    - Organize, organize organize!! (Finally started - sorted all the mess in my office to piles and started to deal with one pile at a time)

    Running total = 85.2 miles (6/10,000)

July 24 - 2.4 miles (and 4 hours sitting in the car!!)
    July 25 - 3 miles

    July 27 - 4.2 miles

    July 29 - 6.2 miles (13805 steps - 8/10,000)

I may not make my goal of 130 miles - I am at 109.2. This weekend will be a challenge... My baby granddaughter's first birthday party - Saturday and my other granddaughter's third birthday party - Sunday! So a round of golf before we go to the party (unfortunately with a cart!) will help get some steppin' in... :)

I ended up being a total slacker about getting on here. I've been trying to focus on better eating and getting my house and office in order. Wasn't really watching my miles, but did wear my fitbit every day and came to a total of 90.94 miles. That was better than last year (83.40).

You were still moving to make 83.40. I am going to believe you were thinking about being here even if you didn't come here everyday... :)
