About 4 months ago, my SO was telling his sister all about how he lost weight and what health improvements he has seen, how good he feels, etc. He told her "the sugar will kill you" basically. He didn't hear any more about it from her, but then yesterday she posted on Facebook that thanks to his advice, she has lost 20 something pounds and doesn't have to use her cane any more. She had severe back pain due to a car accident many years ago and a subsequent back surgery and used to rely on heavy medication just to get through the day.
