Just wanted to post about my sister who has been very supportive of me and her son. She hasn't changed how she eats, but buys stuff just for her eldest son, who is eating low carb with me. She listens to me talk about my new way of eating and exercise all the time.
And, just recently, I took her and her eldest to lunch. Nephew and I were having grilled shrimp and grilled lobster with zucchini(instead of the potato) with lots of butter! Anyway, the salads come out with the bread. I looked over at the cheddar bay biscuts and just commented that they smelled heavenly. My sister reached over and moved them from the center of the table to her corner, without even looking up from her phone. I mean I wasn't tempted to have one, but still I thought that was a touching gesture.

Love it! High five to your sister for being an awesome lady!

I've got both my mom and my nephew on the keto diet and my two brothers and dad thinking about it. I have my best friend doing this with me and my other best friend who does her own thing but is championing me constantly. I've realized how much having all this support is helping me. Yesterday, my brother was eating fries, and I was so tired I almost forgot I couldn't nab one, and he looked at me and said, this isn't on your diet. Not admonishing, just reminding bc he knew I was overtired. So glad to see people with all their own support systems in place.
