Do you gain weight after non fast days?

I already posted this in another 5:2 group but it's not very active so I thought I could ask here.
Yesterday I had 600 calories and lost a pound. Obviously a pound in one day is crazy so I don't expect it to stay like that. I had around 1600 today, how much should I expect to gain back? I'm hoping for .7-.8 pounds back since that seems the most healthy but hopefully not all of it (and definitely not hoping to gain that pound + more back)
This is only my second day of intermittent fasting, so I'm not sure what to expect

I don't weigh every day, but 1-2 pounds per week is my average. I hope this helps!2

I'm with Kate! I wouldn't weigh more than once a week. The goal with 5:2 isn't speed, it's steady, consistent weight loss. Anyone who believes this program is about getting weight off quickly is misinformed. This is about a way to slowly lose weight consistently over time. It took me about 8 months to lose 45 lbs, but it was steady. The thing I liked about 5:2 was that it really taught me to take weight loss one day at a time. I found when I did that, pretty soon a month would go by and I'd be down 5 lbs. Another month later, I'm down 4. I used to approach my fast days as kind of an event, something to plan for. Once the first one was done, I'd look to the second. I've been doing it so long, it's just something I do Tuesday's and Friday's. Using FD as something to plan and achieve allowed time to slow down. I didn't get so overwhelmed by the whole weight loss goal which was different from my other approaches to weight loss.2

@st476 1200 calories per day is pretty low. You might want to increase your average a bit. If you want to lose weight, slower is better. And you might want to really look in to what your goal weight should be. Just some advice from an old gal.0

I'm following roughly the same amounts to get an average of just above 1200 too each week. But I also know that on NFDs I may sometimes go over my planned 1500 just because of life (hello saturday night!) so I'd rather have this leeway.
I'm also thinking ahead to the future, I guess. I've already done a calculation of what my TDEE will be when I eventually hit my goal weight for maintenance and its around the 1500 cal mark - so might as get used to eating that amount of food now. If that makes sense?2 -
@oolou, that's exactly what I try to do!! Except for the weekends... all bets are off then, lol.0

This is my first weekend on the program. I'm hoping to not go hog wild this weekend.0
