Day 12, July 12th, 130 squats!! CHECK IN

Guten Tag from Munich, Germany :bigsmile:

We're nearly half way through this month's challenge and I'm feeling really confident about finishing it. I trust everybody else is still feeling positive too. It's perhaps at this point the initial excitement may be waning a bit and it's becoming a bit of a chore to get motivated to complete these squats. Just remind yourself why you joined this challenge. For me it was to try and tone my upper thighs and "Po" as we say here in Deutschland (Po means your butt/bottom in German).

I asked myself this morning "can I be bothered to go for a run today, maybe I'll go tomorrow" and then I told myself "yes, do it, go for the run, you'll feel good, you know you will". It's so easy to talk oneself out of doing exercise. So I got off my "Po", did 65 squats treating them as a warm up before going out to do a 30 min run. Then on my return from the run, I completed a further 65 squats as a cool down. I do feel good now for pushing myself.

Don't think about it, just do it :happy:

    Just wanted to say, proud of everyone still doing this, keep at it we'll all be able to say we did it come August 1st!!!

    Holy 130 squats batman!!! Ouch! Took a while and had to split them up into pretty small groups. My knees have been bad with weird rainy weather lately, but they are DONE!

    I did 120 at the gym because I thought that was how many we were supposed to do lol! so I just did another 10 for a grand total of 130!!!!!! Ahhh yea :P
