Waking to find my legs asleep

Waking to find both legs asleep for the last two mornings. Should I be alarmed? My back and neck have been popping like crazy, so I think it is a spinal problem, not a neuropathy problem.
Since I lost the weight, my bottom hurts when I sit long. Wonder if it's more related to that.

Have you changed your activities recently? Sleeping longer? Exercising harder? How much do you do in your waking hours to keep the circulation going in your legs?
Sitting long hurts me. I am not a doctor, I am just guessing that the lack of circulation accentuates any problem. If my knees or calves hurt when I am reclining that is a signal to rub my legs or get up and walk around. If movement relieves the discomfort that reinforces the message.0 -
Thank you! I have slightly increased my activity, but that's all. I am mindful that I do not sit in such a way as to cut off the circulation in my legs. I do rub my legs, and move them, when I feel this coming on. I need, however, to walk more. I need to do my stairs more, too.
I guess I am concerned because I've read about diabetics losing their limbs . . . .0 -
I am concerned too. Mindfulness type exercises - mixing leg and toe flexibility exercises with examining your legs and feet for unhealed wounds - may delay the worsening of those symptoms. If you don't like walking have you tried Tai Chi? Or Feldenkrais?0

Thank you!! I will need to look up Feldenkrais. . . .0

I can do those! I had been doing something like these, for back pain relief. Thank you!0

I have those symptoms and I have degenerative spinal stenosis, may be good to get your spine tested for arthritis/ osteo etc. to see if this is causing your sitting issues.0
