Interesting results from a study conducted by World Journal of Gastroenterology! Fiber may NOT be the answer to chronic constipation.

Well well well....personally, I'm more regular with less stomach issues with less fiber. And I was one of those fifty grams or bust people.

Me too! I just really have to watch cheese intake but my belly is much happier without fiber. I gave chia a go when I thought keto was causing constipation...OMG was I miserable for 3 days! Live and learn!

Fiber attracts water. With higher fiber intake you HAVE TO increase water considerably. Or guess what...you get constipated.

In the bad old days when I consumed a low-fat, high-fibre diet, I was usually so bloated by evening that I was in serious discomfort. I got to the point where I wouldn't go out for dinner because of the pain. I was also chronically constipated.

    Now I just take magnesium.
